In the early 1990s, after serving as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and operating 'Braggs Ambulance' for many years, the late Deacon Robert Braggs had a vision to provide quality products to customers as a Christian business founded on Christian principles from God's Holy Bible. Deacon Braggs' vision came to fruition with the creation of Jacob’s Well®.
Deacon Braggs was a husband, father, and humble servant of God who believed and taught that we must never be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Jacob's Well Family continues on and affirms that belief in our day-to-day operations and ministry outreach.
As the Holy Bible reveals in John 4:6-7, Jacob's Well is a place where people come to be refreshed. We are a Christian organization that is led by and represents the Heavenly Father - reflecting His love for all. One of the many things that sets Jacob's Well apart from other organizations is the focus on using biblical principles as a compass - operating in truth and transparency. We feature quality products, delicious food, live music, puppet shows, talent shows, and poetry - all with God's Holy Word as the foundation.
Jacob’s Well exists as a vessel in the Army of the Lord that feeds you (physically and spiritually), encourages you, and uplifts you in Christ Jesus. We believe that many people are spiritually wounded and searching for love. While in their search, they are sometimes taken advantage of by others with ill-intentions. In the midst of spiritual hunger and hurt, people turn away from religion and look for God's love elsewhere. We are positioned by God to reach those people and others. Instead of spotlighting any religion, we are advocates of a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus - believing on Jesus as the only way to eternal life.
The list of what Jacob's Well does within and for communities throughout Arizona and California continues to grow - mock interview workshops, resume' and employment application assistance workshops, parent makeovers, puppet shows, food drives, and more. We are that “new thing” - unashamed of the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Jacob's Well continues to refresh itself and offers exactly what so many organizations have abandoned - engaging people with good old fashioned friendly service and hospitality - never compromising safety and quality. With help from compassionate volunteers, Jacob's Well is moving forward with helping others through creative community outreach. Most recently, we have been blessed to start serving seniors with the free delivery of bottled drinking water.
